Undergraduate Degree: University of St Thomas - Bachelor of Science, Biochemistry
My love for the integration of biology and chemistry is endless. Understanding the way our body functions and the chemical processes undergone by the many cells in our body continues to be my passion. Mathematics is the core of these subjects which has always been my strong suit. I would catch myself printing out math practice questions to do in my free time! But besides all that, some of my hobbies include biking, walking around nature, spending quality time with friends and family, watching sports, and baking! I am also involved in the Pre-Health Professions Club, BESA Club, Omega Ti Club, Chemistry club and I am the President and founder of the Minority Students in Science club at my university as a way to help underrepresented students in their undergraduate STEM coursework. To focus on my clinical experience, I am also an American Red Cross Biomedical Services volunteer where I have the privilege of making a direct impact. My work has opened my eyes to the critical need for blood donors and the difference frontline essentials make in our communities. I hope to carry this experience with me as I enter medical school. Through a series of service projects and patient interactions, nothing brings me greater joy than to help those around me. I would love to be your tutor!
