I just finished my second year of studies at the University of Pittsburgh, and I'm working towards getting a major in chemistry and a minor in secondary education. When I was in high school, I tutored students through the national honors society. I would teach whatever subjects they needed help in, which was mostly geometry. After enjoying that experience and other experiences with teaching, I've decided that I want to become a teacher. I'm most enthusiastic about teaching chemistry, but I can also teach subjects such as physics and math. I hope that I can help students develop the appreciation and enthusiasm that I have for these subjects so that they can enjoy learning them as well. Outside of school, I enjoy reading for leisure, and playing soccer, frisbee, and volleyball.
Undergraduate Degree: University of Pittsburgh-Pittsburgh Campus - Bachelor of Science, Chemistry
When the weather permits it, I enjoy playing soccer, frisbee, and volleyball. At other times, I enjoy reading, as well as playing almost any type of board game.
