Teaching is beautiful. It is a form of art, in my opinion. The ability to instill confidence, ambition, and fervor in others is an absolute blessing. A blessing that comes with great responsibility. The responsibility that has become a passion of mine since I was a mere 10 years of age.
As the son of an incredible elementary teacher, I was introduced to education very early on. I mastered the subjects I learned in school to then help others who struggled. I strive to help my students achieve their goals and reach their highest level of confidence. Seeing the face of happiness in a student who realizes that they are capable is the greatest reward there is.
I am currently in my senior year at Florida International University. I am going to graduate this semester with a bachelor's in business and education. I also studied biology as science has been a major passion of mine. I have also worked in the medical industry for 3 years with my CMA certification. I have been tutoring students for about 6 years in topics ranging from basic English to calculus.
Math is my favorite subject to tutor! Elementary math, algebra, geometry, you name it! I've always been a lover of math ever since my AP Calculus class in high school. I pride myself in teaching students to not only solve math problems, but to love math!
My goal is to design a personalized learning plan for all my students. A plan that will maximize their abilities, increase engagement, and improve their educational experience. Like my old high school mascot, I will make sure my students are educational gladiators!
Undergraduate Degree: Florida International University - Bachelor of Science, Biology, General
