I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors in Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science. At VCU, my concentration was in Exercise Science. Currently, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at Radford University. Since starting grad school, I have helped start and lead many study groups within my cohort, both as larger groups as well as individually. This is a habit I have continued from my undergraduate experience. I am most passionate about Math as well as Anatomy and Physiology, as they are directly related to my doctorate degree. I am a firm proponent of education and have a deep desire to make learning an enjoyable and beneficial experience for each of my students. I believe that each student comes with a level of learning, and that is a teachers role to meet the students where they and help them grow, rather than come with high expectations of where they should be. My goal is to truly show those beliefs in each interaction with my students. In my spare time, outside of studying for my classes, I like to take my dog on walks and enjoy the peace of the outdoors in my hammock.
