I am dedicated to enriching the lives of students! Allowing students to explore wrong answers and learn on their own why it is wrong is so important to developing agency in a person, and I want to aid in that development. Students have such incredible ideas and processing methods that we need to nurture whilst still preparing them for the worlds ahead!
Having a bachelor's degree from NYU in music education, work experience with kids aged 1-15 since my adolescence, and student teaching experience in 2 different New York City public schools helps me tailor my teaching style and speed to each student individually. I have also taught martial arts to kids and adults with various special needs, which has allowed me to personalize my teaching even more and make sure all students, regardless of abilities, can be seen and set up for success.
I love music so so much and have dedicated my life to making is a resource for all, including those who need it for math, for history, or just for fun! I hope we work well together and create a safe space for learning and a brave space for taking academic risks!
