I have a degree in Biology with an emphasis on Plants from the University of Washington. While plants are my passion, I love biology and science in general, as well as math. I've been tutoring since high school where I taught middle school students French horn and always helped my friends with their math (which continued into college). In college I served as a undergrad TA in a Plant ID and Taxonomy course. I like to give alternative ways to approach subjects and problems and the weird tricks that helped me learn. I'm a visual learned so I like having diagrams handy or ready to draw.
