I'm a graduate of Waynesburg University with a BA in History and Political Science and Asbury Theological Seminary with an MA in Intercultural Studies. I've also taken classes related to education and instruction, along with human development and social work. Over the past 10 years, I've traveled internationally on missions working with local people groups to help improve their developmental programs.

I firmly believe that education is how we change people's lives. The more you can learn the more you can do for your community. I love the social sciences, especially history and cultural anthropology, which isn't always everyone's favorite subject. My passion is helping to make learning history fun because with the right teacher it can change your view of the world around you! Not all students learn in the same way so when tutoring I do my best to understand how my specific student learns and tailors our work to match their learning style.
