Bonjour ! My name is Alonzo Jones and I would love to work with you and guide you through the French language! I am a recent graduate from Eastern Michigan University studying K-12 French and Chemistry Teaching. I have been to France, experienced the culture behind the language and attended a French language school where I completed my studies at an Advanced Low level.
I've also taught in the public school and have been developing my own curriculum of French Language Teaching focusing on functional communication skills and grammar where we use the language to teach the language! I have experience working with the International Baccalaureate (IB) program and was also an IB student back in high school. I'd say I bring an encouraging spirit to teaching and it's not always about what you learn. Experience is just as valuable! I like to make my lesson specific to the needs of my students and I'm flexible and will walk with you in the process!
Chemistry has been one of my fascinating subjects, where I enjoy developing reactions and modeling principles of science in ways that accommodate for all ways of learning! I've been to several modeling conferences and have even tutored my friends through college!
I look forward to working with you soon and I hope you find the right teacher to help you succeed!
