I have always had a natural affinity for academia, especially science, because it challenges me. I realized my passion for chemistry during my senior year of high school, and since then I have been actively pursuing a degree in the subject. After graduating high school in the spring of 2019, I attended Northwest Vista College as a full-time student in the fall. There, I found myself tutoring students in my chemistry class as per their requests, and I have been eager to obtain a formal tutoring position since. Currently, I attend the University of Texas at San Antonio full time as an honors sophomore, as well as Northwest Vista College part time, from where I am projected to receive my associate's of science degree this June. My goals for the future include: receiving my bachelor's degree in chemistry from UTSA, attending graduate school to obtain a pHD, and to pursue a career as a chemistry professor and researcher. I also have a solid background in the Latin Language, as I was an avid member of my high school's Latin club, where I held the position of historian my senior year. I participated in competitions such as certamen and the Latin vocabulary test at the TSJCL and NJCL conventions all four years of my high school experience. Needless to say, my heart is in Rome. If nothing else, I am passionate about my studies, and I hope you are too!
