I first realized I wanted to be a teacher when I got a job working the the Suzuki-Orff School of Music in Chicago, IL. Seeing such an amazing program in practice made me want to be a part of that world, and to become a teacher. I went on to get my teaching certification and started my career.
I've been a teacher for eleven years, during which I've taught Social Studies, ESL, English Literature, Writing, and Psychology. My true passion is for teaching writing, and helping students express themselves and get their ideas down on paper.
In my free time, I like to read, do yoga, and knit. I also love cats and dogs, and really enjoy meeting new ones!
