I am an NJCU student finishing up my Bachelor's degree in English Literature. I work as a Peer Mentor at my school and am also a member of the National Education Association and Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. I earned my Associates in Elementary and Secondary Education from Tulsa Community College. I have always wanted to be a teacher so that I can support young people in ways I wish I could've been supported as a student. I believe each student is a unique individual who deserves to be treated as such. A one-size-fits-all approach to education does not work for everyone, and I believe students deserve more specialized instruction that addresses their individual needs, interests, learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses. I hope to provide such instruction through my tutoring and teaching.
