My name is Amber and I've been in education for 15+ years. I grew up in Long Beach, attending private school from Kindergarten through High School. I enjoyed sports and music and also kept good grades. Math was always my best subject growing up. After high school, I went to college at UC Berkeley in Northern California, where I actually got my BA through an independent major: American Studies with an emphasis in Ethnicity and Poetry. Towards the end of my college career, I began assisting math teachers in Oakland charter schools. I taught 7th and 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra I for 3 years before moving to Las Vegas, NV in 2012. Since I've been here, I've been teaching and tutoring all levels of Math at learning centers as well as private in-home sessions. I provide one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, in-home tutoring, and online tutoring.
