My biggest passion has always been education ever since I can remember. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Temple University. My Undergraduate is in English and English Education, grades 7-12, and I also have my Master's in Education. Being a lifelong learner, I am back in school full time to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.

I have been a middle school and high school English teacher for over ten years, and I am confident in my craft as an educator that we can work together to reach those goals! Language Arts and Writing are my favorite subjects to work on with students! I love to see those "light bulb" moments when students understand what they are learning and can then articulate that and show their learning through speaking or writing.

I am excited to work with students of all ages and grade levels, and I am looking forward to seeing growth and success with each student I work with.

When I am not teaching or learning, I am busy working out, as I enjoy exercise. My favorite sport is Swimming, and I still practice competitive swimming and belong to the US Master's. I also bike, run, do yoga, and work hard at HIIT exercise classes. Being in nature, hiking and travel are also a big part of my active lifestyle.

Reading and writing are also interests of mine, and when I can, my favorite place to do both of these is at the beach close to my house. My dog, Kona, is my little sweetheart and I love to adventure with her as much as I can .
