Garrett Hazelwood recently completed a term as interim prose editor of The Southern Review. His MFA is from Louisiana State University, where he taught English composition and was the 2017 and 2018 recipient of the Kent Gramm MFA Award for Literary Nonfiction. He's currently at work on an essay collection about his experiences as a commercial fisherman in Alaska.
