I received my Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University, where I studied Biological Sciences and Environmental Geography. I also completed the Post-Baccalaureate Secondary Education program at Rio Salado Community College.

Upon finishing the Post-Bacc program for teacher certification, I was thrilled to start teaching 8th Grade Science at Arizona School for the Arts. During my time in as a teacher, there was nothing I loved more than forging positive connections with my students and inspiring love for learning. I did so by making both my self and the content relatable.

While I recently decided to change career paths, my passion for working with students remains. As such, I believe I would be an excellent fit as your child's tutor! I'll carry over my experience as a teacher to help your child succeed in his/her classroom.

8th Grade Science is my specialty (this includes fundamental physics, chemistry, and biology). However, I am happy to tutor all Middle School Sciences as well as all Middle School Math.

During my time in the classroom, I taught my students through the modeling method of instruction. In doing so, I guided students to ask the right questions and develop answers on their own. This is how students truly understand content (as opposed to simple rote memorization). When tutoring your child, I will utilize the same method to help him/her better internalize content.
