The one thing I love to do more than just about anything else, is helping someone attain a goal they previously thought was unreachable. I always start by getting to know a student--what are their strengths, what are their weakness, what interests do they have outside of the subject area. After identifying the student's problem area(s), we'll create a plan to tackle those very issues. The last thing I like to do is create dates by which we can see tangible results--such as improving by a letter grade by the next grading period--that way we are alway able to monitor the student's growth and progression.
