I received my MBA in Health Care Management from Columbia Southern University. I currently attend Capella University and will be obtaining my MS in Applied Behavior Analysis. My undergraduate degree is in Biology from King's College. I have tutored since I was in undergraduate school. I helped my peers in the many different classes within my different degrees. I have tutored undergraduates in many subjects throughout my Master's programs. I love to tutor anything to do with social sciences. Social science is our every day lives and how we interact with the world. It is just fascinating. My tutoring style is to always put the student first. I always put myself on the student's level and break things down to the most simple form for the student to understand. Then as they learn the concepts we build on each part until the lesson is learned. I encourage questions to be asked. I encourage active participation. It allows me to know that they are engaged and are grasping things I am teaching. Outside of tutoring I am a full time mother of two children and education is very important in my family. We make everything an educational experience. I also blog and write about everything that comes to my mind. I like to share my ideas and opinions with the world. I am constantly learning new things. After all, knowledge is power.
