I am a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University. It's a small school in Maryland, about 15 minutes south of Gettysburg. I majored in French with a focus in Secondary Education. My longterm goal is to teach high school French. I've spent the past seven months of 2018 (October - April) living in France teaching English to French students. I am home for the summer to spend time with family and friends before returning to France in the Fall.
I have a passion for the French language. I am a grammar nerd and love to work on verb conjugations and sentence structure. Verbs are what make a language come to life. They are so important!
I know that French can be difficult. When I am abroad, I am constantly told by natives, "We know the French language is hard. Even we (native French speakers) make mistakes!".
This being said, I am more than willing to share my tricks to mastering conjugations, adjective placement, and gender with anyone who needs help!
