Remember: The most brilliant people in the world ask the most questions. I have always had a knack for taking everyday activities and making them amazing. That's the trick with learning; if you don't make it personal, you'll never like it enough to excel in it.

I've used animal anatomy to explain the importance of structure in college-level essays, video game analogies to stress the importance of practical application of facts, and plot twists to describe the pitfalls of a "I'll have time tomorrow" attitude in just about any situation. I've cultivated effective communication, adaptation, teaching and listening skills throughout my BA program and beyond. My overwhelming love of world cultures and language has brought me into the company of dozens of the most astounding people on the planet from as young as 11 to upwards of 67.

Experience fuels passion and that is what I believe learning is: a lifelong experience! I use my life, the people I've befriended, the languages I've dabbled in, the stories I've digested, and my passion to help others grow to be the best resource for my students.
