I'm passionate about helping students I enjoy being part of the reason they will be able to meet their academic and learning goals. I want every student to experience motivating support during their learning process and helping them succeed is truly amazing! I have experience working with elementary students during a semester in high school. My classmates and I would travel to an elementary to read books with them one on one or in groups helping them with their reading, writing and class work. My education comes from Putnam City North high school in which I graduated from in 2008, and online at Phoenix University working towards being certified in medical records. I'm a tutor in elementary reading. Elementary reading is my favorite subject to tutor because I love to read books and I want to create that same enjoyment for students as well. One thing you can never have too much of is knowledge and there is power in reading! It's always fun reading to children and getting them engaged in the book seeing their excitement about the story being read to them. My teaching philosophy is that no person is the same or learns the same. My tutoring style is molded around that student according to their needs. What works for one student may not work for another, so I find it more accomplishing to start preparation and teach according to the getting to know the children struggles and blend their interests as well into the learning experience to keep them focused and looking forward to it. It's all about the student and what works from them in meeting their goals. Outside of academia what I enjoy the most is spending time with my family I'm a mother, cooking, reading books, learning new information, creating and drawing art, music, yoga, meditation, fitness!
