Education has played a large role in my life. It not only makes me who I am today, but who I will be tomorrow. I am a recent graduate from Penn State University who is currently studying for the MCAT, aspiring to become a future physician. I personally had many tutors who have helped me through thick and thin, aiding me in understanding things I may not have at first. Now that I have acquired the skills with the help of these tutors, I want to give back. I believe that Varsity Tutors is an amazing platform which facilitates learning at the highest level. It is an honor to have the chance to work with them, being able to help students develop the proper techniques in order to achieve what they desire.
As a student myself, I understand the value of a good teacher, a helpful classmate, as well as a great tutor. I want to see the students in which I will teach thrive, understand, and most of all enjoy the moment when that concept or idea clicks. That is my goal, to be able to get the student where they want to be, however long it may take.
Now, I look forward to this journey. A journey that will end with both individuals feeling like they have done something for the better. I believe the student-tutor relationship is extremely important. Not only do I enjoy being able to help someone, but I like to think that the student themselves will go on with the knowledge they have acquired and use it with confidence.
