I am a student at Madison-Area Technical College. I'm going to be receiving an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Math & Science.

I love math and science. It has been interesting to me since I was in elementary school, learning on a Leap Pad. I helped my fellow students with their assignments and really enjoyed helping. Through helping others, I got a better understanding of the subjects myself.

My first official tutoring job was at a Kumon Math and Reading Center in Maple Grove. I worked with a variety of kids at different ages and helped them with their Kumon assignments. However, I found the method of teaching at Kumon to be very limiting. Kumon has a specific method that every student must adopt. I believe that every student learns in their own unique way, and it's up to the instructor/tutor to find out what works. That is part of the fun.

In my spare time, I'm part of my school's Performance Arts Leadership group. We plan the theater programs for the school. I also perform or help out with the performances. I'm also working on film projects of my own.

I hope to help you reach your academic goals!
