I have a passion for changing the world through education. I started young helping those that had different abilities than my own. After I graduated from undergrad, I discovered that I wasn't fulfilled in working in my major (Business Admin). I started substitute teaching and quickly grew to love it and my schools loved me. I became a permanent substitute and filling most of the long-term openings in the school that I was assigned. During this time, high school math and special education were the departments that I spent the most of my time. This led me to pursue my Masters in Special Education with a certificate of assistive technology from George Mason (2015). I now am working on my doctorate in education. While at Mason, I have taught within the Mason LIFE program (a premier program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities). I have also spent the last 15 years working with educators and parents in Ukraine to develop their education system to better meet the needs of those with disabilities.
My strongest area of tutoring is in mathematics, but I have experience teaching other subjects as well. When I am able to find some spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and playing board games with friends.
