About Me

I am an enthusiastic tutor who believes that everyone has the ability to learn and that we all learn differently. I have taught and tutored in the following subjects: English, Language Arts, Technology and Business. I graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associate of Arts and I have a certification in microsoft business applications. Additionally, I have taught Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point. My approach to tutoring is to first build rapport with students and then help them and work together to meet their academic goals. I also utilize a tutoring method where the student fully utilizes their critical thinking skills also known as the Socratic method. More importantly I realize that the practice of tutoring requires patience and understanding.
