I am looking forward to the opportunity to help you (or your child) understand mathematics and build confidence with it. Math is around us, everywhere we look, and in everything we do. It might not look like equations and numbers, but it is there. Taking a step back to look at math in a simple way and how things connect together helps learners realize that it is not as intimidating as it might seem.

I have been teaching Pre-algebra and Algebra 1 in middle school since the 2006-2007 school year. During that time, I have found many ways to explain topics and made connections with hundreds of students. Additionally, prior to teaching, I spent about 7 years in the corporate environment, which gave me a number of real-world examples that tie in directly to the math topics I cover.
