I am an ESOL endorsed 2nd grade teacher with 13 years of experience teaching children of varying grades and ability levels. My career includes classroom teaching, specialist teaching positions (ESL and children with Autism), administering specialist programs and substitute teaching in a variety of classroom settings. My experience along with my unique talents, devotion and trainings not only give me the ability to teach in any classroom environment, but make me a well-rounded tutor.
My extensive background has given me a deeper knowledge of how to
administer educational programs, manage classrooms of all types,
coordinate parent nights and connect with the community. In my classroom
I have implemented SCIOP and GLAD teaching strategies and use
technology regularly to motivate learning. I have attended numerous
trainings about sheltered instruction, systematic E.L.D. and bilingual
