I'm a retired Senior NCO Soldier. I've had a varied life with many different experiences and places I've been; from growing up in Hawaii to living in Germany two different times totaling nine years and several States in between. I have am AS in Management and a BA in Theology. I also have completed 67 Graduate level credits in Cross Cultural Education. My US Army occupations include Military Intelligence, Indirect Fire Infantry Man and worked in the Chaplaincy and supply fields. Positions I've held include: Intelligence Analyst, Platoon Sargent, Operations Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge (Ops. NCOIC) and Commandant of Training for about 6,000 deploying Reserve Soldiers for the War on Terrorism in the Middle East (I was activated for a total of two years to implement this training). All of which included both tactical skills and academic pedagogue. Be advised that I was not a Drill Sergeant and I do not teach that way. My civilian teaching experiences include teaching high school Social Studies (US History, World History and Economics) in CA. for 1 year, substituting for Marana USD and subbing and tutoring for the Academy of Math and Science presently, full-time. I also home schooled my two daughters who are now grown adults and doing very well in life. Other civilian occupations include: restaurant management in full-service and fast food restaurants (total 10 years), senior pastor of a small community church in Fresno, CA. area (10 yrs), retail sales and management (3 yrs) and Certified Peer Support Specialist (social worker assistant) at the Crisis Response Center (CRC) here in Tucson (3 yrs).
