What is your teaching philosophy?

I work in a stress free environment. I love to utilize creative methods to approach an issue at hand.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I like to understand your experience in the subject and collect a self evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, and goals. We will use this session as a roadmap to plan for our future growth.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

I seek to practice application with you first, so I am there as an aid. I then will encourage you to tackle the same issue on your own. We must take everything we can from every lesson, no matter how big or small.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

I would help a student stay motivated towards relating the subject to an individual passion or goal of their own. I hope to include their lifestyle and implement it through their educational application.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

I like to re-approach the issue through a new lens. Typically, we will break down and simplify this in order to approach it from a different angle.
