About Me

I graduated from the University of Michigan - Dearborn in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Integrated Science and a minor in Mathematics. Upon graduation, I taught 7th and 8th grade science for one year and 5th grade math for another year. I have also been tutoring and working with students of all ages for the past 5 years. Education is one of my passions in life and I firmly believe that every single student has the capacity and capability to be successful. I love getting to know each and every one of my students on an individual level, learning their interests, passions, strengths, and weaknesses. I specialize in finding new and interesting ways to teach and explain topics that students find confusing in class. I believe that every student is unique as a learner and a tailored approach to his or her learning style is imperative to their success. I strive to identify the needs and learning style of each student, and adapt my educational techniques accordingly.
