Hello! I am an environmental educator working with students from K-12 with a variety of outdoor science lessons from forest ecology, herpetology, stream ecology, fish biology, etc. Prior to this, I was a Fulbright scholar completing research on coral reef restoration where I got to go scuba diving in the Philippines!
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. with Distinction (top 3% of graduating class) in Integrative Biology. During my undergraduate years, I participated in a variety of teaching and leadership activities. I was a chemistry lab TA where I instructed weekly labs. I created lesson plans and taught at an after-school environmental science club. I lead volunteers on service trips across the country and eventually became an executive board member of Alternative Spring Break developing student leaders to facilitate social justice issue trips.
I love learning and am excited for the opportunity to share my knowledge with others! Please feel free to contact me.
