As far as my education, I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology from Drexel University. I also obtained teaching certification for secondary biology and chemistry.
Currently I teach at Temple University, and have taught at various institutions within the Philadelphia area for the past 12 years. During this time, I have held numerous study sessions and office hours to help students in a small group or an individual basis.
My favorite subjects to teach are general biology, anatomy/physiology, microbiology and test prep courses (particularly the math section).
As far as interests outside of academia, I am an avid sports fan, and am in my glory right now during March Madness! I also like to cook, bake, do jigsaw puzzles and volunteer my time (right now at a no-kill cat shelter).
