In May of 2015, I graduated from the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, Minnesota. There, I earned my degree in Biochemistry while working as a coffee shop barista, environmental chemistry laboratory assistant, and emergency department medical scribe. Further, as an undergraduate, I developed a love for teaching as I worked as a Teacher's Assistant in various biology and chemistry laboratory courses and later had the opportunity to serve as a private tutor in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. I enjoyed the opportunity to work with students in the subject areas I love.
With academic understanding comes excitement, further curiosity, and a sense of achievement. Leading my students toward this understanding is my goal, and something I take great pride in. In August of 2015, I began my medical school education at Creighton University. I am excited to continue working as a tutor while earning a degree that will allow me to be a life-long teacher.
