As someone who has been a high school math tutor for several years, I have gathered a great deal of experience in making sure that students understand their coursework and material. I always do my level best to ensure that I help students with whatever subject they are struggling with, whether we're discussing Middle School Math or Algebra 2. I try to adapt to whatever learning style best benefits the student, in order to make sure that they are able to flourish and succeed. What is your teaching philosophy?

To always encourage the students to help motivate them because that will lead to them overall putting more effort into the task at hand.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

Typically, I would introduce myself and ask what type of problems they need help on, and then we'd start with that.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

By giving them helpful tips on certain problems, as well as them having notes on lessons.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Just by acting in a positive manner with the students, and acknowledging the hard work they gave.
