I graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with minors in bioengineering, chemistry and math. During the first session, I would like to get the student's background in the subject(s) we will be working on together along with the student's strengths and weaknesses.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

During the tutoring sessions, I will also discuss studying advice so the student can learn to strengthen their skills outside of tutoring.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

There are always different ways to tackle any learning difficulties. The student and I will find the best way to conquer any issues.
