I am a graduate of the University of South Florida, receiving my B.A. in mathematics. I began tutoring as a volunteer in high school primarily helping elementary school students prepare the for FCAT standardized tests for both reading and mathematics. As I progressed through college, I tutored multiple peers through advanced level mathematics courses including calculus, statistics, differential equations, as well as many others. Through these experiences, I've become competent tutoring mathematics from elementary level through the college level. Watching my students gain confidence within subjects which they previously thought would be impossible to understand is one of the most fulfilling feelings I have experienced, and it always motivates me to do everything I can to help my next student. I always try to give my students a laid back environment to learn in as I believe the high stress setting of classrooms can often be an obstacle in itself to the learning process. Outside of tutoring my hobbies are exercising, playing music, martial arts, and most importantly spending time with friends and family.
