About Me

I grew up in West Texas and graduated from Texas TechUniversity with a Bachelor's Degree in ElectricalEngineering. While working, I attended the University ofDallas nights and weekends to earn a Masters Degree inBusiness Administration. I worked for Hewlett-Packard Company most of my career,helping engineers at Bell Helicopter, Rockwell, TexasInstruments, and the U.S. Air Force solve challengingelectronics test problems. I moved to Hong Kong for twoyears, conducting business from China to New Zealand,Japan to India. I also lived in Fort Collins, Colorado,while working for HP.My hobbies have included playing the saxophone, tennis,snow skiing, hiking in the mountains, scuba diving and skydiving. I like music of all kinds. I speak Spanish fairlywell, though I do not try to teach in Spanish. My style of helping students learn algebra and geometry is"Let's make this fun!" Where possible, we discuss how themath might apply to the "real" world.
