I have been an educator since 1993 and I am currently teaching in South Plainfield, New Jersey. I have one M.A. in Literary Translation (1998) from the Graduate Program of Translation at the University of Puerto Rico and another M.A. in French Studies (2002) from The University of Connecticut. I completed my B.A. at Universidad del Sagrado Corazn in Puerto Rico, where I majored in Languages and Literature (English/ French). I completed in March 2014 a Post- Masters Certificate Program as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant at Kean University. I have the Connecticut Educator Certificate (2001-2014) for Teacher of Spanish, the Connecticut License as Designated Head Teacher for a Child Day Care Center and the New Jersey Standard Teacher of Spanish and French certificates. I am also certified in New Jersey as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant. I have mentored undergraduate Education students as a Cooperating Teacher for Seton Hall University and the College of Saint Elizabeth in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
