Starting Fall of 2014, I will be the resident of Radiological Physics at Columbia University. My previous education includes a Masters of Medical Physics from Columbia and a B.S. in both Biophysics and Physiological Sciences from UCLA.
I have been a tutor of K-12 Maths and Sciences for several years for both groups and individuals. My tutoring style tends not towards lecturing, but rather jointly delving into complex problems with students. Rather than merely arriving the answer, I want my students to understand step by step each fundamental concept that makes up the whole issue.
Aside from physics and tutoring, I love the outdoors and adventure. I have scaled ascended 20,000 ft mountains and have ridden and hitchhiked across South America. I love rock climbing and longboarding and everything in between.
