I received my Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from The University of Michigan. Since graduating, I have been working as a trader for a top-tier firm in Manhattan. While working towards my degree, I have tutored and graded several higher-level math courses, while also helping middle and high school students with homework. I believe not only in teaching, but guiding students to discovering solutions to problems on their own. Firsthand experience is the best way to excel in mathematics, and by facilitating a conducive environment for students to arrive at the answers, I find it is by far the most effective method of tutoring.
I enjoy gaming in my free time. Video games are great at stimulating logical and critical thinking, while also helping to develop the uncanny ability to think quick on one's feet. I apply this advantage not only to my work, but also when tutoring my students, imposing a constant sense for self-improvement not only in the subject matter but for all walks of life.
