I have been teaching Spanish to children and adults for more than ten years. From Florida I moved to Albuquerque to study Communications at the University of New Mexico, and later I began working in the television production industry writing scripts in Spanish for a travel TV show. Later, I moved to Oviedo, Spain to complete my Master's degree in Spanish. After six years, I returned to the United States to study Education at City University of Seattle, and I began to work for the Bellevue School District.
As a personal tutor, first I like to identify my student's strengths and needs to customize my lessons and present the material in an engaging and simple way. I usually start with simple and practical exercises before getting into the grammatical structure of the language, but I always emphasize real-life scenarios and the natural use of the target language. My communicative approach reflects global influences and a rich vocabulary.
