Hello! I began tutoring Math in the fall of my senior year at Swarthmore College. Since graduating with high honors in May, 2012, I have worked with students at all levels: from middle-schoolers wrestling with the basics, to working professionals in graduate programs. I have a diverse mathematical background, and experience working with students who are seeking a little extra help for all kinds of reasons.
I am happy to work with middle- or high-school students in any of the standard courses. I have tutored Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, etc. and am very comfortable with the assignments given in these classes, as well as the areas students most often need help with on tests and exams.
I am also happy to work with college students. I have worked with almost every variety of Calculus course, as well as differential equations, linear algebra, etc.
Finally, I also help students preparing for standardized tests such as the SAT and GRE tests. Though my college career eventually became focused on Mathematics, I work with students on both the verbal and quantitative sides of standardized tests, and have personally had success on both sides.
