I'm from Beijing, China. I've been studied Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language over 6 years. And I just gained my mater degree in education from NYU. Now, I'm a certificated teacher in New York State. I've worked with different age groups both in and after class to serve different purpose. I always believe that language functions far beyond communication, it also shows people the path to a new culture.

I am also an accomplished pianist with a classical background, and very much enjoy teaching piano to students of any level. As an undergraduate teaching assistant for college level Music Theory and Keyboard Harmony courses over multiple semesters, I am also happy to teach musical interpretation and theoretically informed performance practice.
