I am French and I've been living in the U.S.A for 6 years. I taught French to children for 3 years in an after-school program in Washington state. I moved in Illinois a few months ago and I would love to continue teaching French. I hold a substitute license from IL state and I am currently enrolled at National Louis University to get my full teaching license for middle/secondary education. Besides teaching, I love spending time with my 2 children, I also enjoy arts and crafts, reading, baking, walking and traveling!

I am a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with an Honors BS in Biology and an Honors BA in French, and have been a tutor for years. Having worked in countries all over the world, I am comfortable working with a diverse range of people, regardless of their language fluency and subject expertise. Since graduating, I have been attending a post-bac program at the University of Toronto in intensive Spanish and Arabic, before continuing on to medical school. I have also been tutoring numerous subjects for over 10 years, including Math, French, and Biology. I truly believe that it is with individual attention helps maximize one's full potential. My research combines the fields of global health and psychology by examining the effects of culture on self-related psychological processes. I hope to continue in academia to become a professor of psychology, as teaching is among my greatest passions.I offer tutoring services in SAT and GRE prep, as well as in grammar, writing, and essay editing. I also provide help with AP Lang, Lit, 2-D Studio Art, Music Theory, and Psychology. I worked as a French Adjunct in the Greater Cincinnati area for five years. During the past years at the University of Cincinnati, I developed a passion for teaching both language and culture to my students. I am mostly using the communicative method in the classroom and I am able to navigate in different styles of teaching. I also have the experience of teaching courses on-line. I just returned from Paris where I taught French at a vocational school for the past year where I am settling down permanently.
