Hello. My name is Xin Pan. I am a junior at the University of Massachusetts, studying Accounting at the Isenberg School of Management. I am planning to get my CPA license in the future. I lived in China for 15 years, and I have lived in America for 6 years. My favorite subject is Chinese, because I know that learning a new language is difficult. I want to help students learn useful language knowledge during fun tutoring time. I do my best to make tutoring fun and effective.

I'm a current PhD student at Tufts University studying Applied Math, and formerly I attained my Bachelor of Science in Math at Pepperdine University. I have been tutoring math for three and a half years now, including Calculus, Differential Equations, and Algebra. I also have taken and tutored many standardized tests, including AP Calc, A-Level Math/Further Pure Math, and GRE Quantitative Analysis. In addition, as a Chinese native speaker, I'm also tutoring Chinese speaking and writing. Outside of academia, I enjoy playing music and sports. I am currently a keyboard player in my band and a member of the school dancing team and table tennis team. I'm looking forward to meeting my tutees and becoming friends with each one of you!

I have had experience tutoring/teaching as a teaching assistant for three classes: Intro to Databases, Electricity and Magnetism (for engineers), and Computer Network Architecture. I have had industry experience in software development as an intern for IBM and a cybersecurity analyst for TIAA. Outside of school/work, I play the piano and train with the Duke Taekwondo Club. I am available for both LSAT tutoring and small group and individual sessions with young learners.I love working with young learners to nurture their natural curiosities and growth through lessons that are engaging, interactive, and unique to their learning needs and interests. I have had the opportunity to work with students from ages 2-9 in pre-K, kindergarten, first, and mixed grade classrooms around the world, both in-person and virtually.
