I LOVE TUTORING. It is one of my favourite things to do. I am also pretty good at it :). As I am a student myself, when helping students understand vague concepts, I often discover other ways of understanding ideas, which inturn makes me want to help more. That and the joy of seeing my students ace their exams is what keeps me going as a tutor. So let's learn together!

...and I teach middle school computer science and applications in the Clark County School District. I have been teaching for 14 years in various capacities, including all grade levels in elementary. I have a Masters of Education, I am a Google Certified Educator, an Apple Teacher, a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, and a Code.org Facilitator. My passion is technology, especially coding and robotics. I strongly believe that all students can learn regardless of their circumstances.

I love helping children/young adults. Helping them to understand their work and complete it, often times gives them a boost of self-esteem. The goal is to tutor in a way that teaches them to do their work on their own, but reminding them that I am always here to help.

...the University of Texas, where I majored in Applied Learning and Development. Currently, I am attending the University of Nevada - Las Vegas for my masters degree in Multicultural Education. I have been teaching children and adults of all ages since I began tutoring in high school, through working at a daycare throughout college, tutoring adults learning English in the El Puente program, and as an elementary teacher for the last three years.

I love teaching and tutoring students. I feel that all students can achieve and be successful with the right teacher and lessons. Working one on one can make all the difference for a child! I love being a teacher and enjoy seeing that light bulb go on for students.

I am a responsible, personable, and professional elementary teacher with a major in elementary and special education with a middle school endorsement. I am currently attending grad school to receive my master in school counseling. I take great responsibility for student learning and raising test scores.

I have been teaching/mentoring for the past 13 years in North Carolina. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Medaille College in NY. I enjoy helping others grow in education and feel more confident in their skills. I really enjoy teaching students to read. I taught first grade for nine years and it was my favorite grade to teach because I had the opportunity to teach children to read.
