I'm a current student at the University of Richmond, with a Bachelor in arts, majoring in geography and minoring in physics and French. Since I was a teenager, I've always valued giving people educational opportunities, from my library-building project in West Africa to helping out my friends on projects or academics. While I tutor a big range of subjects, I'm most interested in the subjects that I will pursue in college, alongside mathematics. I wholeheartedly believe education is an absolute necessity for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. My degrees include a BS in Healthcare Administration and Psychology, and an AS degree in Architectural Technology. I am also completely my Masters in Instructional design, specifically related to accessibility for online learning. As an avid learner and adventurer, I love sharing my knowledge with children, teens and adults alike. Teaching, to me, is about learning how my student learns, understanding their strengths and challenges, and adapting my skills for their best outcomes, in a way that is both fun and comprehensive. I continued my education at Columbia University and received Master of Arts in Biology. Starting in middle school and continuing through my graduate career, I have tutored students in a wide variety of subjects, but I was most effective at tutoring math and science because of my lifelong love and aptitude for these subjects. Since I am also working towards a career in molecular biology, I use math and science every day, and I can explain real-world applications and uses for these subjects that may not seem obvious. I have worked extensively on government-related projects, often in the greater Middle East.
