It is easy to feel discouraged, especially with a language like French, where native speakers tend to speak so fast and where grammar and pronunciation can become overwhelming. Practice makes perfect! I always try to point out a student's strong points and remind them of the progress they are making. If everything starts seeming too challenging, that means you've managed to reach a higher level. Bravo!
