I'm currently a double major in vocal performance and songwriting at Berklee College of Music. I've been singing for 9-10 years of my life. Recently I've also been performing a lot of my own music with a live band :)I have experience teaching skills like singing, piano music theory, music production and songwriting. I also have experience specifically learning IB Music Theory and teaching it to high schoolers.

I am a graduate from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. With years of peers tutoring through high school/college and over 1 year of professional tutoring, I am confident in assisting anyone who are interested in learning to excel in the subject of their interests. I mainly focus on Mathematics tutoring (HS, College) but also available in subjects such as General Programming, Chinese and High-School Chemistry.

I got my undergraduate degree at Oberlin College in Ohio, and graduate degrees in Law and Chinese (JD/MA) from the University of Michigan. My undergraduate major was in Law and Society, with a minor in politics.I have always been interested in teaching and tutoring. I participated in peer tutoring programs in middle school, taught and tutored third grade Hebrew and B'nai Mitzvah students in high school, participated in a program teaching Spanish at a local elementary school in college, and spent the year after college teaching English in China. While teaching in China I worked mainly with high school students (mostly seniors) and provided individual tutoring to middle and high school students. When I returned to the US I also spent some time as an SAT teacher for Princeton Review, and then later worked as a Graduate Student Instructor (TA) for an undergraduate course in Zen Buddhism while in graduate school pursuing my MA/JD.I really enjoy teaching, particularly when I have the opportunity to work with students who are motivated and engaged. My strengths are in reading, writing, and English. I love stories and I love explaining concepts in an accessible way.I believe in holding students to the highest reasonable standards - I don't expect students to perform beyond their current capacity or understanding, but I do expect students to try and to produce their best work-effort. I also believe that learning can and should be fun, and that students learn best when they are engaged with the material.In my free time, I like to read, write, ski, go to live theater and shows, travel, and watch foreign films.

I am a sophomore at University Of Washington, Seattle. Since I only graduated from high school a couple years ago, I am very familiar with the high school and middle school topics being taught. I am able to relate and truly understand the stress that students might be going through with college application processes, SATs and middle / high school assignments. I am eager to motivate and help you all to be successful and confident students in your classes!

I completed my B.A. in English at Western Washington University, and my M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Adelphi University. I am excited to work with students of all ages on their path to becoming better readers and writers. I believe in inspiring others to reach their potential in this amazing subject.During my time in graduate school in New York, I taught two sections of English 109: Introduction to Creative Writing. I have held and participated in many writing workshops, offering critiques while also embracing criticism from my colleagues and students. My love for English started at a young age, and during college, I set the goal for myself to become a teacher.Every day is a learning experience and I believe that both student and tutor have a partnership in learning together. My time in higher education was when I fully came to appreciate the power of the written word.

I am entering my fourth year of chemical engineering at the University of Washington. I have always loved math and science, as I feel they are subjects that are easy to tackle with fundamental steps that apply to various problems. I look forward to helping you all achieve your goals!

I love motivating and building the student's confidence.Knowing that I enjoyed Math and Physics, I pursued an engineering major. I graduated in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011. I work as an engineer full time, and I do tutoring on a part time basis.I would be a great fit for students who want to work together on a regular basis and build their foundation for majoring in the Engineering and Science fields. However, I do welcome those who are simply looking for short term help.
