I'm a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in English after switching my major from Secondary Education - English, which I studied for two years. Teaching has always been central to my goals, and my time in NAU's College of Education strengthened my understanding of how students learn best.

I have over two years of classroom and tutoring experience across language arts subjects, including College English, Creative Writing, and English Grammar and Syntax, with a particular focus on developing Essay Writing skills. My teaching philosophy centers on open communication and helping students express their ideas with confidence. I aim to meet each student where they are, fostering a supportive learning environment that builds both skill and self-assurance.

Outside of tutoring, I read and write daily to refine my craftcontinuing a lifelong love for language that informs and improves my teaching.
