My passion for helping students goes far beyond textbooks and problem sets. I believe education is a powerful tool for empowerment, and I find immense joy in helping students unlock their full potential.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. As a dedicated educator with over seven years of experience, I've had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students through their academic journeys. I specialize in tutoring middle school math, pre-algebra, and algebra, as well as several high school-level subjects.

My teaching philosophy is centered on building a student's confidence first. I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and my role is to meet them where they are, identify their unique learning style, and adapt my approach to make the material click. My favorite subject to tutor is algebra because I love demystifying the concepts and helping students see the practical, real-world application of what they're learning. The "aha!" moments are what make it all worthwhile.

Outside of my academic life, I am passionate about cooking and love and bringing people together over delicious Italian family recipes. I enjoy yoga, traveling and exploring new places, and finding ways to make learning more engaging through educational technology.
